Established in 2012, Bambu Technologies is a small outfit producing performance quality bamboo bike frames. We offer build-your-own workshops at the Bambu Hub, our main studio Los Angeles. We have a satellite location in the Philippines. We collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations on projects and applications involving bamboo and other renewable materials. Bambu Technologies firmly believes in the progressive livelihood opportunities presented by these renewable materials coupled with eco-friendly technology. As advocates for a more sustainable earth, Bambu Technologies partners with socially responsible suppliers to promote enlightened lifestyle choices.

CUSTOM BUILT BAMBOO BIKES
As avid cyclists turned Pro-Builders, we are committed to rigid quality standards for all bike frame builds. Each bamboo bike frame is handcrafted and quality tested to meet industry standards. Treated bamboo is hand selected for appropriate applications. Natural fiber tested to have high tensile strength ratings are used as binders. We use plant-based epoxy developed by Entropy Resins for the bonding/joining process and all procedures are strictly controlled. Drop-outs and inserts are made from industry grade aluminum.
BUILD-YOUR-OWN BAMBOO Frame
The individualized Bamboo Frame-Building Workshop is for enthusiasts wishing to build their own Bamboo Bike frame or create something unique with their own hands. This 3-day workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and skills using the Calfee Design D-I-Y method to build a bicycle frame on their own from scratch.
